The JSP integration in OpenCms allows easy and standards based creation of dynamic functionality. With the provided <cms>-JSP-taglib it is possible to separate your template into containers that can then be used by the content managers for simple drag & drop. The main features of the OpenCms JSP integration are:

  • Creation of drag & drop enabled templates
  • Accessing structured content elements
  • Using collectors to create lists of content elements e.g. news or event lists
  • Speed up the page through advanced configurable cache settings
  • JSP Taglib support for common OpenCms tasks
  • Create navigations without writing scriplet code
  • Easy content repository access
  • Providing online and offline versions of the same JSP
  • Optional static export of JSP
