The “Optimize image gallery” dialog can now be used from the page editor

With the “Optimize image gallery” dialog, users can, for example, delete unused images or find images that have not yet set a copyright. This dialog can now be accessed directly from the page editor and also from the sitemap editor.

Prior to version 19, the “Optimize image gallery” dialog could only be used with the extended access rights of the “Workplace user” role. Users who do not have access to the Workplace were previously unable to use this useful dialog.

As of version 19, users who only have the “Editor” role can also access the “Optimize image gallery” dialog. The dialog can now be opened directly in the page editor and also in the sitemap editor.

In the page editor, a new “Pencil” icon has been added to the “Galleries” dialog alongside the existing “Magnifying glass” and “Upload” icons.
In the sitemap editor, the dialog can be opened in the “Galleries” view via the context menu of a gallery.
