Upgrade your existing OpenCms installation to the current stable version 10.0.1 with this easy to use wizard.

The OpenCms 10.0.1 upgrade wizard allows an almost automatic update from all previous OpenCms release versions.

Supported versions for the upgrade are:

• 10.0.0
• 9.5.0 - 9.5.3
• 9.0.0 - 9.0.1
• 8.5.0 - 8.5.2
• 8.0.0 - 8.0.4
• 7.5.0 - 7.5.4
• 7.0.0 - 7.0.5
• 6.2.0 - 6.2.3
• 6.0.0 - 6.0.4

This version will only work for MySQL, Oracle and PostgreSQL based OpenCms installations.

Please have a look at the readme.txt file in the downloaded zip archive for details about the upgrade process. Before you use the upgrade wizard, please make a full backup of your OpenCms installation.

Who should use this 10.0.0 upgrade download?

Use this download to update from an existing OpenCms 9.5.x, 9.0.x, 8.5.x, 8.0.x, 7.5.x, 7.0.x or 6.x installation. For a new, fresh installation of OpenCms 10.0.0, use the full distribution version.

This version of OpenCms requires Java 6 because of library dependencies. In case you still run OpenCms on Java 5, you need to update your JVM first.

Please note: This update wizard is not intended to be used for any non-stable (beta, GIT based) versions of OpenCms.
