Integrating OpenCms with Liferay Portal Server

Abstract

This session will demonstrate the integration of OpenCms with Liferay portal server in order to take advantage of features from both platforms. Liferay is a rich Open Source portal server which is rapidly becoming popular in corporate use.

We will take the user on a tour of creating a portlet, and how to use the portlet architecture to integrate with OpenCms. The technical details of the implementation will be discussed and at the end of the session the user will be able to implement their own portlet implementations.
